The fabric feels incredibly smooth against the skin and the compression is exactly what I was looking for. After a 30km training run, there was no chafing or discomfort at all. The waistband is secure without feeling restrictive, and the overall quality is excellent. Definitely one of the best running shorts I've owned.
I've tried several premium running brands over the years, and these easily compete with shorts that cost much more. The storage layout alone makes them worth it for marathon training.
I've used these on two long runs (28km and 32km) and they performed exactly as I hoped. The storage around the waist is surprisingly practical. I carried gels, my phone and a soft flask without anything bouncing around. That's what sold me.
